Describe the bug

The navbar does not provide visual feedback to users about which page they are currently on. Implementing a highlighting feature for the active page in the navbar would improve user navigation and overall user experience.

To Reproduce

  1. Go to Home page
  2. Click on navbar items
  3. See error

Expected behavior

The navbar item corresponding to the current page should be visually distinct (highlighted) from the other items.
