Maybe I should add that .buildlibrary is not modified by lucode2::buildLibrary and was thus not part of the MR #74 , for which this problem appeared. The reason is maybe the reported error. I assume that this also leads to the library not being updated on the cluster.

Anastasis and I had now a look at it. We are still not completely sure what is happening and only Anastasis could reproduce the problem, but we have a potential fix (which worked at least for Anastasis):

Could you please install the remind package from source on your machine and rerun buildLibrary afterwards again? It looked like Anastasis had a corrupted version of the package installed which seemed to cause the problems.

Ok I tried to devtools::install_github, which fails with

This seems to be related to a (empty) warning message when loading gdx:

There is definitely something fishy here, and it might well be related to my environment, since installing remind from source on the cluster seems to work.
