Kendra will be doing a survey on interest for her project, and open science in general, in Montreal (mainly McGill). I don't see a reason why we don't get this circulating in the franco-montreal community.
We discussed many things - she's leading a great project, and will be good to see this develop.
I also discussed OpenScienceCanada / how we may try to generate an overview of available organizations in Canada.
IDEA – have on OSUM an overview of all the open science resources / people in Montreal. A lay of the (open science) land in Montreal. She would be on it, and would be able to help us find all the open sciencey projects / PIs in Montreal. Collection of resources / inspiration #14
We also discussed how can we try to get other stakeholders involved (ie. How do we get people from CS / mathematics involved). Eg. How can we encourage stats PhDs etc., to help other scinetists in Montreal, understand, and do, good stats ...
