Here are some updates since our initial launch discussion.

New features

• Theming: css override: v1.4.0 and some improvements in v1.6.0
• Headless mode: output an Atom feed: v1.5.0
• Templating: changing the layout and content structure of the entire UI: v1.7.0

What's next

• Data plugin: so each user can extract different information for the feed based on their unique needs (e.g. full text, image, site favicon)
• Better customization experience: the current theming and templating systems are early explorations. I hope to collect some feedback from the community and make improvements based on the feedback.
• Quality and performance: I plan to refactor the code to be more modular and adopt more functional programming paradigm. This will pave the foundation for the upcoming extensibility features, e.g. an SDK for building data plugins. I also plan to add unit test so contributors can make changes more confidently.
