CocoaPods1 have explicitly stated that they are in Maintenance Mode, primarily due to Apple having their own package management system.
Early in development of Fuse I've experimented with both SPM and CocoaPods. At the time, I've had more success with CocoaPods though I haven't been a fan since I found that CocoaPods made too many assumptions and causes loss of control over your own projects, but for some it is better than manually managing and importing XC Frameworks so I've began to adopt it.
Moving forward however, I will no longer be making CocoaPod releases and I'm going to make more effort in using SPM has a distribution path. The Fuse pods repo will be archived.
