Make ajax cart data modifyable

For a recent Plugin I added to one of my sites I had to add some features (data) to the ajax cart and I think I can rewrite it in a way to benefit everyone (with a filter). E.g. add additional data And also there seems to be a missing js event for updating the quantity. are there any planned updates for the ajax cart? just to not interfere with those.

Not really. The entire block in ajax-cart.php from line 608 to 643 will be deleted by #909. This is not a big deal and you can ignore that.

There is an issue reported here https://github.com/orgs/bootscore/discussions/960, but I think there will be no quick solution and maybe your missing js event for updating the quantity fix that.

If you want to work on the file, we can prioritize that. I don't have any further changes planned at the moment.
