How to connect to redis secure (rediss://) ?

Hey, assuming you are using 0.7.3, you should look at:
https://github.com/geofmureithi/apalis/blob/2a40166233a70d33adcd418f20559b0bcd754e4e/packages/apalis-redis/src/storage.rs#L31-L35.

The only thing you may need to add is the tls feature eg:

redis = { version = "*", features = [
    "tokio-rustls-comp"
] }

apalis itself doesnt bother with this, it just accepts a ready connection. You basically need to create the connection you want with the redis crate and then pass it to RedisStorage. Let me know if that helps.

That flag already implemented but still not work

I tried another way by following deadpool_redis example, but the problem is I can not pass the storage to my axum app_state (it said connection not clone able)

What did not work specifically?

I recommend trying the redis + apalis without the other parts.
If you are still having problems please share a small reproducible example.

Regarding axum see: https://github.com/geofmureithi/apalis/blob/main/examples/axum/src/main.rs maybe you are looking for extension.

You might be having problems with deadpool coz it is missing some constraints such as Connection not being Clone yet axum state needs Clone

The default provided function does not support tls. You need to:

1. Include tls support: https://docs.rs/redis/latest/redis/#tls--ssl
2. Use the build_with_tls method instead of apalis_redis::connect

I think I found the root cause

Solved by upgraded redis (v.32) and deadpool_redis (v0.22) to latest version, then apalis will use redis with tls feature same with other
