Gitter for chat?

Across OKI projects we are running a test for a few months to see if Gitter chat integration via our code bases on GitHub can help us do better with (technical) community engagement.

I've integrated shields to the Gitter chat room for Open Trials on the other, code-focused repos in the opentrials namespace, but did not what to add to this repo without consulting you first.

What do you think?
