Benefits

Stronger unit-testing for those command implementations, each field output can be compared against a well defined value(might not be of the same exact data-type)
This code can be re-used to implement Ability to generate raise GitHub issues with required troubleshooting information. #39, i.e. which'd be a cool feature to have & really helpful for OpenEBS users.
