Hello!
We are having trouble with data coverage. We have set up the Beiwe backend on our server and are using the app available in App Store. It seems like the app rarely registers data for the first part of every hour, and then after say 30 minutes, it starts registering data and does so until the next full hour, after which it stops again (the length of the gap varies from day to day and between individuals).
Here's a plot of the count of GPS timestamps aggregated for each minute of a full hour, based on about 11 days of data, for two different participants.
We only use passive data collection, no surveys. We found the same pattern on all phones we connected, 5 iOS phones, and one Android phone. (Although showing the same temporal pattern over the hour, the Android phone is generating ~x10 data compared to iOS, also visible from the plot above).
Do you have any idea why this might happen?
Thanks!
