This issue is created to track the work required to develop changes in the contracts and the upgrade procedure to migrate the xDai bridge to be the extension of the AMB between the Ethereum Mainnet and the xDai chain.

The corresponding changes on other bridge components are tracked under omni/tokenbridge#427.
