right now, we're not actually using much of jekyll except for the ability to fuse together some partials. This is because we're using all client-side queries to pull data from talk.olab.io. That said, it might be easier if we can just host the site on our server and use a jekyll callback to pull on commit. This way we could author a php script to grab users, etc if that's the way we need to go.
