Is this a reproducible bug?
Current behavior
Currently when Herdr is in an idle state (lot's of agent panes open but none working) my battery drains to 50% when unplugged. The reason I know this is because Ghostty is mentioned in apps using "Significant Energy", once I stop the Herdr server that notifications goes away.
My laptop is also very hot most of the times.
Expected behavior
Herdr when idle, should not drain my battery as quickly allowing me to not constantly plug in the laptop.
Reproduction
Herdr running with multiple panes open, no agents should run.
Check battery consumption over an increased span of time.
Impact
I need to constantly plug in my laptop which is not ideal for meetings.
Environment
- Herdr version: latest
- Update channel (stable or preview):
- Operating system: MacOS Tahoe 26.5
- Terminal: Ghostty
