Copy/paste?

Can copying and pasting text be implemented? it would be super helpful when editing either filenames or some lines of text on some .ini files. It would nearly make using a computer and taking out the SD unnecessary completely.
There's no updates since 2022 so unless this is extremly easy to add i won't hold my breath, but... im giving it a shot
