Dev Log Auto Opens on save

when using the dev log, i sometimes close the devlog window for better code visiblity, but everytime i save and it hot reloads it opens it back up, any way to stop this from happening. i should be able to manually open it via the toggle command whenever i need, no need to open it on save

I use nvim-dap-ui for that, and I disabled dev_log in the config.

But disabling completely removes it, i just want toggleable, like whenever i need i open it
