Inclusion of Public Health Pledge?

Dear all,
I found the DISCOVER Cookbook and it seems like an amazing resource.

A barrier to inclusion and diversity that it does not address are concerns about infectious diseases, such as (but not limited to) Covid-19. I'm not sure whether that's by intent?

If not, maybe a reference to https://publichealthpledge.com/ could be included.
