Clicking "Redetect (Restart)" after closing the program and reopening it causes a BSOD

This has happened twice to me, if you close the program in any way and the launchpad isn't automatically detected after restarting the program, clicking "Redetect" triggers a BSOD with the stop code "REFERENCE_BY_POINTER".
