Recent files

  • Android: sidebar
  • iOS: where?
• show recently visited files/folders, discuss metric
  • right now only local on device, no sync to server/other clients
  • files: "easy" via remembering last opened/edited one
  • folders: how? remembering if one was "active with a file" on a folder?

Idea:

• first focus on files
• show only last 50 files
  • have "load more" -> show next 50 files

For recents on ios we do this PROPFIND:

and yes, auto upload does appear in Recents

@tobiasKaminsky We already have recently modified drawer menu and it uses SearchRemoteOperation.SearchType.RECENTLY_MODIFIED_SEARCH

What's the difference?
And also it is not visible when I launch the app based on the R.bool.recently_modified_enabled?
Also shared propfind bases on <d:getlastmodified/> isnt it means also same with RECENTLY_MODIFIED_SEARCH?

As far as I can see from PROPFIND limit is 100 and it fetches last 14 days result.

@tobiasKaminsky Since limit is 100 (both on iOS and Web) and also OCFileListFragment is used to list files we can just use as it is instead of:

extend timestamp
fetch another 100
load another 100
this would be extra effort and seeing all the time last 100 item should be expected behaviour no?
