Hello all,
i am starting with netbox to document my chaotic homelab and i like the tool very much. The pysical layer is nearly done and now i want to get a grip on my single non-clustered proxmox server with some Containers in it.
I do not use SDN. The physical server has 2 physical Network interfaces , one of them on a tagged VLAN. The conainers are attached to one of the bridges mbr0 or mbr1 respectively.
I wonder how to document this in netbox. The proxmox/netbox-connections i saw seem to be focussed on PVE-Clusters and feel like overkill to me.
I thought about using virtual devices, but i wonder if the proxmox environment itself should be a virtual device or only the containers. For the containers I would like to keep track on some specific information like id, name and their network configuration.
UPDATE: I saw this tipp for Proxmox interfaces as bridge
Thanks for reading and considering !
I would appreciate any hint about how to proceed here .
Best regards
Norbert
