Download Any Version of the Backup Configuration

Environment

• Nautobot version: 2.3.15
• nautobot-golden-config version: 2.4.0

Proposed Functionality

Rquirements:

• There MUST be functionality that allows users to view and download a specific version of the backup configuration of a device

Nice To Haves:

• There SHOULD be an option to perform post-processing that adds secrets back in and anything else that is required to prep the configuration for instillation
• The file extension SHOULD be a configurable (i.e. .txt or .config)
• The number of commits that are made available SHOULD be configurable

Use Case

• Allows devices to be restored to a backup from a particular point in time after minimal edits made by an engineer
• This feature is found in several other configuration backup tools that store the configurations a flat text files
