[critical] kill-switch not working #742

Looks like kill-switch is not working at all, and non-standard connection states are unhandled:

Connect to any node
Turn your Internet connection off

This will display an inappropriate message on the app "Failed to connect":

Turn your Internet connection back on
This will expose your IP: Internet connection is not killed (kill-switch not activated), and the real IP is leaked.

App is stuck with another inappropriate message "Disconnecting":
