What version of Music Assistant has the issue?

2.3.3

What version of the Home Assistant Integration have you got installed?

No response

Have you tried everything in the Troubleshooting FAQ and reviewed the Open and Closed Issues and Discussions to resolve this yourself?

  • Yes

The problem

For some time I was successfully using my automation to pause music when I leave room and resume it after I’m back.
Since like 3-4 weeks, when there is only one track in queue (internet radio / podcast episode), when playback is paused it works like stop. Track is removed from queue so “resume playback” action does not work when I come back.
As workaround whenever I play single track I also add it as next track in queue. In such case pause/play works fine.

How to reproduce

Play radio url on snapcast player.
Pause playback.
Wait a minute.
Try to continue. (not possible as playback is stopped)

The above is the way I think about it, but I have to sit down and take a good look at it
