Crashing on launch #2215
Comments
the version before that works? |
Just confirmed it does not. Same issue. I honestly have been using v2.3.0 for years because I only needed it to trim / merge clips and it has always worked flawlessly, so I had no reason to upgrade. Just the other day I ran into issues trying to merge some larger clips (just goes to a white screen seemingly indefinitely), so I figured I'd try the latest version. I see there's been a million releases between 2.3.0 and 3.63.0 .. is there another specific version you'd suggest I try? |
Wow. Honestly I have no idea. But it's the first time I've heard of a complete crash on startup |
Hi @domeshine, Wild guess, (apologies if a silly question) is it possible your version of Windows 10 is 32bit? In closing, thank you @mifi for your wonderful software! 😊 |
The fewer issues I have to read, the more new features I will have time to implement, so I ask that you please try these things first
Operating System
Windows 10
Steps to reproduce
Downloaded latest release (v3.63.0) for Windows (LosslessCut-win-x64.7z).
Extracted files, launched LosslessCut.exe. The LosslessCut window appeared for about 3 seconds before crashing. A LosslessCut.exe process remains running in Task Manager.
