  • I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

how did you previously installed the package, via winget.exe or somewhere else?

Can't sure if this can be reproduced.

I've installed it via winget.

What is the existing package version?

# Use this command to show
winget list XBMCFoundation.Kodi --source winget
# If Not Found, try
winget list Kodi
winget list XBMCFoundation

BTW, I'm not so sure it's the same issue:
