wondering what is causing the WPF stuff to balloon like this. My computer has been up for almost 10 days so if there was a leak, i'd imagine it would have shown up.

Even with Color picture's UX fully rendered, it is 57mb on my computer.

Powertoys.Run was just using 17 gigs of RAM. I closed PowerToys and Relaunched it. Did some Quick Searches on PowerToys and now it is on 4 gigs

The issue of PT Run seems to be caused by WindowWalker and a duplicate of #19568

(yes, it's outdated - but 0.68 is above 0.65)

this still happens to me from time to time. It's either ~100-150 or MOOOAAAARR until RAM is full. IF the issue occurs, it's at start of PowerToys

Hi I am havng this particular issue happening in version 0.71, it starts ramping up until it is using almost all available memory, rn is at 39GB but by the second is going up

@ed1chandler

v0.71 is still doing this. PowerToys.Run sucks up a TON of memory.

i'm getting this too, it happens consistently when i enable window walker. FWIW i have a ton of windows open, many many chrome windows and a dozen or two from other programs. this also only started happening recently, i don't really know what changed. not sure i can provide much more context

Today I've got the same behavior when Powertoys.run was using 4gb of ram. Powertoys v.0.83.0

@knaughtilus

I ran into the same issue today, PowerToys.Run consumes ~12 GB memory.

Version 0.85.1 (PowerToys Auto Update)

I'm having the same issue with PowerToys.Run

Image

The memory usage balloons over finishing about 2m after triggering PowerToys.Run. It appears to sit at this level indefinitely until I kill the process.
