data binding : Working with several data sources

Hello,
could you clarify the way to work with several data sources ?
It seems to work in the DevTemplate project because the data sources are close to the components using them.
In my situation I try to have data sources the most generic possible so they might not be the closest one to the DataConsumer.
Also tried to set a unique dataSourceType, but this seem to fail at least for collections because the dataSourceType seems to be hardcoded to "data" at lookup time (DataConsumerCollection.cs:623)

I just created an issue with a sample that shows DataConsumers dont work when the data source type is not "data" (ie customdata)

data source type being the unique identifier of DataSourceProviderSingleton, then it is not possible to use it too with more than one data source
