Test SIM sequence does not change polarisation rotator

Unless I'm missing something, the legacy SLM implementation does not change the polarisation rotator when using the test SIM sequence we can trigger from the device's GUI.

As I'm constructing a SIM_SLM device that mixes a microscope-slm I guess I could mix, on top of the trigger handler, the handler for the polarisation rotator. Maybe I could event remove all together the polarisation rotator device and merge it into the SIM-SLM device...

What do you think?

I understand that for SIM experiments it might be nice to merge them into a single device but what if you want to use the polarization rotator for other types of imaging, eg fluorescence polarimetry, flip between two orthogonal excitation states and have the emission split by a polarizing beam cube.

Then there is the calibration and test use cases. These could definitely be coded for but would need some work.

I think there is a definite use case for a polarization controller without an SLM so I think that rolling them into a single device would overall add significant complication and loose functionality.
