Acquisition Function Constructors for qSR and qUCB

Hi all,

I am investigating currently the possibility to use the acquisition function constructors for setting up the acquisition functions, and I am puzzled by those for qSR and qUCB.

Both construct_inputs_qSimpleRegret and construct_inputs_qUCB expect an agurment objective with the type MCAcquisitionObjective. In case of the presence of constraints this objective is then passed to a ConstrainedMCObjective with setting objective equals to objective. But how does this work? ConstrainedMCObjective expects for objective not an MCAcquisitionObjective but a callable. Or do I overlook something?

Keen observation - but MCAcquisitionObjective defines a __call__ function and is thus, a Callable :)

class C:
    def __call__(self):
        pass

isinstance(C, Callable)  # True
