Questions about upsizing and saving images to outputs

So I've just switched over from A1111 to Swarm and the speed has me blown away. I love all the options, though I'm still learning what they do, and I've yet to try making and using Comfy nodes, so these question are about the general interface. I hope they aren't too dumb.

1. Upsizing. In A1111 you can do hires fix, and then, if you like the final image, send it to the extras tab and do a simple upsize. It's the exact same image, only bigger. Here you have the refiner/resize which is basically the hires fix, all good there, but the dropdown box for 2X sizing seems to feed the image through your prompt again, changing it to a greater or lesser amount. I want the same image, only bigger. What am I missing on how to do this?

2. Saving. I turned off the default save function because I don't want all my experimental images saved most of the time. But when I do want to save an image all I see is variations of "download", which does the job of saving the image, but does it to my download directory and doesn't use the naming convention from the settings. Is there a way to do this? Again, what am, I missing?

You can add the image as an init image, set Init Image Creativity and Refiner Control Percent both to 0, then use refine upscale to just raw run an upscaler model like that. I agree a dedicated subpage for it would be nicer. You can make one on the Simple tab if you're familiar with Comfy workflows.

Again, what am, I missing? what you're missing is everything around that was designed on the assumption you'd leave saving on normally, heh. You can reuse seed and uncheck DoNotSave then hit generate to have it save to the normal image history (note that with reuse seed you'll have exactly the same parameters, and as long as it was your last gen, it'll have a cache and not actually need to regenerate, it'll just save immediately).
The Edit Image interface also has a save to image history button at the top left under the ... menu.
You can also again use init image with 0 creativity to shove any random image into history.

Aha! So it's all there I just needed to think a couple more steps out. I'll blame it on the allergies. Thanks for the help!
