Edge case syntax parsing missing font-lock-function-name-face when excessive ellipsis continuations used

Having multiple ellipsis line continuations causes g2 (in g2.m) to not be syntactically recognized.

function...
        ...
        g2
    disp('in g2')
end

Another case where the function name does not get font-lock-function-name-case

function oneliner, x = abc; end

I've started in on a matlab-ts-mode (see the matlab-ts-mode branch) and this issue is fixed there.
