I definitely understand the ethics of favouring Codeberg, but I suspect you'll have less participation there compared to GitHub, which means that alternative projects with a GitHub presence will likely out-pace your capacity eventually.
Would you consider using a tool like git-bug (or even git-issue, depending on maintainer status) to help people contribute from wherever it is that they prefer to be? I'd be willing to do some research or maybe submit a PR to add whatever infra support is needed, so it's not all on your plate :)
(I'm still evaluating TweetDeck-like tools, so I'm not solidly committing to that yet, but this offer is part of my evaluation of the long-term options <3)
