Retain embedded assistant dialog in the same chat session

may be could be achieved, but in my simple trial of adding bids assistant to bids-specification website:

• feat: Add AI BIDS assistant widget to the specification pages bids-standard/bids-specification#2254 (preview at https://bids-specification--2254.org.readthedocs.build/en/2254/)

if I go to some other page, the assistant gets reset to a new chat. I think if it just carried chat ID through the session - might be sufficient for starters. Ideally should be even more persistent.

I think @bendichter had a solution to this, right? Pop up the assistant in a stand alone window.

indeed a standalone window is one way to achieve it . The other would be some kind of a session state if within the same window popup. Ideally it should be

• an option to open in separate window/tab
• a "configuration" item (already has " config framework" for the open router token) to either do "PiP" or new

For newbees might be slightly better when within the window since might provide a perception of being "a part of the same website", having result clicked on and updated while also seeing the dialog, instead of going to some new page etc.
