Is it possible to revert to a previous version of Meta Bind without losing my button templates?

Hello,

I use the Plugin Update Tracker and accidentally installed a canary build (1.3.4-canary.20250304T164007). I'd like to revert back to a production version without losing my button templates (basically the only feature I'm using right now). Is this possible?

Yes, you can simply download the files of an old release and replace them. Just don't replace the data.json file in the plugin folder.

I haven’t run into this issue (yet), but I’ve been thinking about it too. Would it be possible to have templates stored in a dedicated folder—one file per template, similar to how Templater handles it? 😊

This would make sharing templates much easier, e.g. one could easily copy a template file from your example vault to their own. Also, I think it would improve the UX: editing templates in a file is much more convenient than working within a settings dialog, especially for larger or frequently updated templates. At least that's how I'm feeling about it. 😅
