I have a project were I could integrate some data from Lutris. I was wondering what the license of the data dumps is. The code is licensed under GPL-3, but there is no mention of the data dump itself on the README. At the end of the day, I just want to prevent duplicate work. I also require mappings for various games and their platforms they are available to buy on.
Can it be used in commercial and non-commercial projects? What about the API?
Thank you!

We don't own most of the data that is in our database and it would be too complicated to attribute every game data to each of their game publisher.
This makes our data essentially public domain but for better licensing sake, I would rather prefer having our data dumps under Creative Commons.
The CC type would at least be by-sa but maybe with a nc clause too. If a project were to use the Lutris data commercially without asking us first, we would simply block them.
