Way to extend REST APIs built with lb4 rest-crud

Is there any way to extend APIs/Controllers generated with lb4 rest-crud?

When I try generating a custom controller with the same name as a controller already generated with lb4 rest-crud, it never shows up in the explorer.

So for example, if a DB schema has a Classroom model and lb4 rest-crud generates ClassroomController, adding a custom controller with the same name (intending to extend it with custom APIs), it will not show up under the ClassController section.
