Exact URL of where the bug happened

Any study

Steps to reproduce the bug

  • Open a study chapter and press the 'f' key to flip.
  • Optionally click off the chapter.
  • Click the button to edit the chapter. The default option in the orientation dropdown doesn't match the board, and clicking on white gives a black orientation (and vice versa).

What did you expect to happen?

Default option should match the board.

What happened instead?

The opposite.

Operating system

Windows 11 / WSL2

Browser and version (or alternate access method)

Chrome

Additional information

I attempted to partially solve this with #16331, but the problem was the added complexity/coupling it brought to the code.
