DualSense Bluetooth controller with last upgrades and Retrobat

DualSense Bluetooth controller doesn't work well with last SDL library when using with Retrobat.
The gamepad seems to be in a connection/deconnection loop and the entire system is slow down...
It is working when I downgrade library to SDL2_2.28.1.dll... But after that no...
Can you please fix that in future updates, so there is no need to downgrade?

What version of SDL is having the problem? Does it work if you build the latest main version of SDL and run testcontroller?

It works with SDL2_2.28.1.dll but doesn't work with 2.28.4 or 2.32.4.

I just tested DualSense over Bluetooth with that and it worked fine here ...?

Yes the gamepad is correctly mapped and all works with testcontroller.
However in Retrobat we have seen an incompatibility from SDL2_2.28.4 and anyone trying to play with a dualsense in bluetooth got has this problem.
I wonder what has changed between 2.28.1 and 2.28.4 .
Maybe can you try to exchange with Retrobat team...

We have our hands full with the 3.4 release, so in the meantime I recommend that the Retrobat team use sdl2-compat with SDL3 for game controller support. We are continuing to improve controller support moving forward and they'll probably want to be able to take advantage of that.

While testing a bit, i can confirm that when setting the SDL_JOYSTICK_HIDAPI_PS5_RUMBLE hint to 1, this does not happen anymore.
However this renders the controller incompatible with emulators using dinput.

Disabling HIDAPI also works, but similarly this would limit the controller's functions like motion control for other emulators.

Was the enhanced functions introduced in 2.28.4 ?

Strange part is that this happens only with PS5 controller, not with PS4 controller.
