With recent update, per-model default configuration feature via json file has been implemented.
I'd like to share lemonade-manager, lightweight one-file model management webUI that leverages per-model configuration feature to manage models with ease.
Especially useful when used with minimal installation version / headless system / container or vm.

I’ve looked through the v9.1.3 changelog and saw that the /load API now includes an option to save default llamacpp arguments. This is a huge win for users like me who run a minimal lemonade‑server instance on a dedicated headless server solely to expose models via an OpenAI‑compatible API. With this change I no longer need to expose SSH just to run a CLI command or to edit json file.

While we’re on the topic of per‑model configuration, I’d like to propose a per‑model “hide” toggle in json file. Such a flag would prevent a specific model from being loaded into the llamacpp backend. In my own WebUI I added an enable/disable switch, but it only affects the UI—it doesn’t hide the model from the OpenAI‑compatible API, so disabled models still appear in third‑party applications. A built‑in hide toggle would let administrators silently keep a model unavailable to external clients without having to delete it outright, which would be useful in some deployment scenarios.

We have a suggested field that the Lemonade App for desktop uses to show/hide models, you could take advantage of that.
