Clarification on PALOM registration tool for citation

I am currently using PALOM for whole-slide image co-registration, and may I whether PALOM has been formally published (journal article, preprint, or conference proceedings) so that it can be cited properly.

Could you please clarify:

Is there a published paper, preprint, or DOI that formally describes PALOM?

If not, what would be the recommended way to cite this tool (e.g., GitHub repository, Zenodo DOI, etc.)?

This will help us ensure that we reference PALOM correctly in our manuscript.

Thank you for the kind words. There isn’t a dedicated journal publication for PALOM. I can add a CITATION file and register a DOI for the repo via Zenodo early next week.
