Multiple GMM curves are generated

I often see more than one GMM curves of the same color are generated. This could be a bug. Could you take a look?

And this may be a related issue to the above, but sometimes the range of channel is not right. Consequently, the GMM fit is not right either (see most of the points are saturated at max=4319).

You can type in a more appropriate number as a workaround (eg max=10000), but this should be fixed.
