Gauge for Protein Expression Not Covering Entire Range #4

Description

In theory, each channel’s range should be (0, 65535), but it is often set to a smaller interval—possibly determined by a mixture of Gaussian distributions or pixel intensity quantiles. This default behavior is acceptable most of the time; however, I occasionally need to extend the range beyond these limits.

For instance, the default channel range for CD8A is set automatically and appears too bright (see Fig. 1). I can click on the upper bound and increase the value, and when I press “Enter,” the new value is applied (see Fig. 2). However, if I click the textbox again, the value reverts to the initial upper bound, which is inconvenient.

Would it be possible to adjust this behavior so that manually set values persist? Thank you!
