dateItemsStartedToBeAdded and dateStatsStart not acknowledged in parameters.yml

When trying to add dateItemsStartedToBeAdded and dateStatsStart to parameters.yml the values are not parsed and added to var/cache/prod/appProdProjectContainer.php. They do however, get added when I put them in config.yml.
