[Bug]: Nodes restarting in emergency mode #1462
Comments
on a side note: @mysticaltech wtf is this spam |
GitHub is having a spambot problem they're trying to combat. |
@maaft If you have any fix for this, it would be super appreciated. |
Exact same problem here, inspecting logs of other nodes reveals that |
We sometimes have the same problem 🤔 Would be interested in a fix. Output before pressing ENTER
Output after pressing ENTER
As you can see, there are more and other network interfaces available in the tables. |
Might have been a temporary problem with the cloud-init on microos, post update. I think I will recommend to turn automatic upgrade off for production, until we get to the bottom of such issue. But will need to implement a better upgrade on demand system. |
Description
I just came back to work after ~2 weeks and one of my nodes booted into emergency mode after failing cloud-init.
After pressing "Enter", the node seems to retry cloud-init, this time successfully, and comes online.
