Link in Notification email fails

When a notification email is received it includes a link that normally goes directly to the post. However when the new post is the first on a new page that link doesn't work. It goes to the start of the item, i.e. to the top of page one. (Tested on a new item on page 2)

With a new post added to that item I realise it happens for subsequent posts on page 2 too.

This link should go to the 2nd post on page 2.
