http://reportabug.kiwix.org/ (that is mentioned in the wiki) is a redirect to this CONTRIBUTING.md.

The file looks like a boilerplate and together with the empty issue list makes the project appear unmaintained. It mentions the very relevant https://github.com/kiwix through "https://github.com/kiwix/<repository-name>/issues", but that part does not look read-worthy because it looks auto-generated.

@aleksejrs The problem we have now, it that the project grew up and deals with many different repositories and bug tracker. Do you have a better solution in mind?

First of all we can pin overview repository in kiwi github page and then we i will add a custom contribution.md instruction and other details section wise and we can request others suggestions too.
Because after digging through kiwi's github , there lacks a complete instruction for different repository, but since we need more people in this initiative we need to have a simple instruction set for all the repository at one place.
