Mastodon port #1

I rushed into starting to do a port over to Mastodon and I realized there are a handful of design decisions that I'd rather run past you! They're all pretty minor, but here's what I'm thinking:

  • It should run as @[email protected].
  • The blocks that appear on Mastodon should be the same as the ones that appear on Twitter, but we can fit more names in the 500 character limit so it may come out to fewer toots
    • I think that means that I should just modify tweet_block.py to insert some alternate splitting and tooting on the blocks before it gets deleted
    • Otherwise, I think the reply structure and the single post for linked names thing works well over on Mastodon too

One nice effect of doing it this way is that you can just administer the bot all in one place. You're on Python 3-something, right?
