• running two or more DMTs on one database, make sure that they do not interfere (that is, they do not attempt to write one file at the same time). Ideas: lock the file?

• "--event_catalog local" is not quite clear! desired action: ONLY local events.

• "--pre_process False" is not intuitive!

• "--min_date" maybe should be set to 1900-01-01.

In continuation of this discussion:

• when defining your events, maybe 'julday' and 'flinn' flags would be nice
• what I am missing in each event folder is a simple text file with comprehensive event information without the need to go through obspy to be able to extract information like datetime, source location, magnitude, etc from the pickle file...

• A "--delete" flag of specific events, stations, networks from the dataset (e.g. I downloaded too much data and just want to get rid of one specific network to save space on my server);
