Certification for course in asynchronous mode

Hi all,
is it possible to issue certifications if the course is carried out in asynchronous mode using recorded lessons?

The recorded lessons would be available only for a certain period of time, moving on to the next lesson would be possible only after the completion of the previous one and the certification would be issued after passing an exam.

I'm issuing certificates for these type of courses, but always for batches of participants that need to finish within a fixed period that is mentioned on the certificate. At this moment there's no option to have flexible periods for each participant of a course if that's what yo need.

I have something of a similar situation, the training is pre-recorded and live sessions done only when required by participants. I would like to have a way to just have one open training, I guess for this type of certificates the Start and End date should be added per participant rather than at the course level. This provides a way to have flexibility rather than creating a course for when each student starts and ends.

The certificates do say the amount of actual credit (8 hours for example) so even if it takes 3 months to complete the actual credit will tell people the training was 8 hours. Hopefully this can be implemented
