PETG Temperature tower/Wait for temperature

On layer 5, the print head stops to wait to get to 250C but it just sits on the print and created a massive bump that the print head moves over and hits for a couple of layers. Could that be fixed so it retracts, raises a bit, then waits to reach temperature, then comes down to continue the print?

Agreed, running the same models just now and have the same issue... Retract & raise before and lower & prime afterwards would be a great solution imho.
