I no longer need this feature for automating spell point usage (Beyond20's "add a text comment" already took care of that for me).
However...
... it would still be extremely useful to me (and for many other users, in all supported VTTs) to have the ability to always display a spell's level, because that way, it becomes much easier to manually correct a mistake when the user accidentally messes up his spellcasting somehow. And that is just as true, whether the user is using the default Spell Slot system, or the variant Spell Point system.
Feature description
The user goes to the Beyond20 settings, and finds there a switch that says "always display a spell's level".
The user flips that switch.
The user casts a spell without upcasting it.
In the roll20 chat, the spell results are shown, including the level of the spell, even though the spell was not upcast.
The End
Anyway, that's my suggestion... do with it what you will :-)

A small feature, that would enable me to create a roll20 script, that would fully automate spell point use :-)
